For all you worry warts out there, this is a phrase I say to myself when I need a little reminder that life’s too short to spend it thinking about what could go wrong! I made up this quote, “What more could be so right?” in response to everyone around me saying, “What more could go wrong?”
Positive thinking is powerful. And I decided to make up my own patterns of speech that could become habitual to support me in what I want – not what I fear. I also use this phrase as a reminder when I start stressing about the “how” of everything. For example, how will I move from A to B? How will this job situation work out? Or, what if “fill-in-the-blank” happens?” And so on…
What I’ve found, is that if we keep focusing on what we have to do that’s right in front of us, the future will take care of itself. If we don’t start thinking too far ahead and just take one day at a time, everything gets done that needs to and you get where you need to go. Our biggest road block is worry; if we can get that one out of the way, it truly can be smooth sailing. So next time you find yourself caught in the net of negativity, say to yourself, “What if it all goes right?”
I expected to see things improve. It’s all about viewing problems as challenges and challenges as opportunities for growth. This is how I like to see things. If you really want that life you have been dreaming of, it would help if you could keep your focus on positive uplifting energy which can come in the form of thoughts, words, pictures, music, you name it! For me, personal quotes (WORDS) are the windows to my soul. I believe in them with every ounce of my being and they have created for me a life that I love. This is why I have such strong conviction about the power of our thoughts expressed through words.
