The Activities that Ground You

What are the activities that ground you? Do you know what they are? One of them for me is planning my next day each evening. When I wake up and know exactly what I need to do, it gives me such peace and tranquility. Another grounding activity is sitting down for a 5 minute breathing meditation or taking a long walk in nature.

Grounding ourselves is important so that we can connect more easily with the spiritual realm. It seems counter-intuitive, but the more we have both feet planted firmly on the ground, the more easily we can allow our consciousness to float toward the clouds.

It’s like saying, “Okay God, now that I’ve gotten everything sorted out down here, what was it you were trying to say?” And then, we are more receptive to hearing accurate guidance. Try star gazing to put your mind at ease, it always creates space in me.
