At the beginning of each new day, what do you do? Do you seek joy first? Do you do something that raises your vibration?
I do. If meditating doesn’t sound good, I don’t do it. If exercising doesn’t sound good, I don’t do it. If sleeping in and taking a sauna sounds good, I do it. Why is any of this important? Because it’s not what you do that counts, it’s how you feel while you’re doing it, that does.
If I wake up tired, why would I force myself to exercise? If I wake up all geared up to go outside, why would I force myself to sit in a dark room? If life is all about receiving the energy that you give out, I want to be on top of my game – all the time – and this means I need to be honoring my energy needs first – not my mind’s. We all “think” we know what we need, but how many of us wake up each day feeling exactly the same? None of us. Why? We have emotions, physical sensations, relationships, and a whole bunch of mental chatter keeping us preoccupied with the day’s to-do list. So why not just start off by listening to your body’s needs in the moment, and do what would best serve your current energy levels?
Life shouldn’t be about “time management” but rather, energy management. For without energy, who cares how much time you have? Seek joy first; seek that feeling of happiness. Joy is the highest vibrating frequency there is, and the closer you can get your energy to match that frequency, the better your life will be. This is the first thing that you should be focusing on each morning, then everything else will fall into place and you’ll start to manifest the kind of outcomes you truly desire.
