Respect the Switches

There are these switches in the brain. And you have to pay attention when you start to get sick of information coming in. That’s when it’s time to turn off one switch – lest it blast you with more energy than you can handle – and turn on another. It’s like turning off the news when you’ve heard enough doom and gloom and turning up the music to put you in a better mood.

It’s the difference between unconsciously falling into a depression and consciously tuning into a different frequency. When you start feeling the energy zap out of you, and you notice yourself headed for unhealthy habits, it’s time to flip the switch. It’s amazed me how effective “listening” to this inner urging can be. It’s like instantly entering back into the flow of the Universe and effortlessly allowing life to carry you into the next important area of of focus. Everything always gets done; everything always works out. It’s all a matter of respecting the switches.
