Passion Is of the Ego

The reason for the title of this blog is because: If all you do is set out to follow your desires, and satisfy yourself, you will be left feeling alone and never whole – because there will always be something else; there will always be “more.”

As human beings, we’ll never stop wanting, and we’ll never stop evolving, and that’s okay. But what’s important to recognize here, is what’s really real and what’s not. Because if you put all your time, energy, and focus on something that’s fleeting, your heart will be broken and your energy drained. If you truly want happiness and peace, stop seeking it in careers, partners, or through any other physical means. It’s not physical. It’s a state of mind; an internal awareness that real peace is never lost.

Real happiness is always available – not because of what you achieve, but because of who you are. It’s your birthright. So, it’s not about following your passion and doing one more thing, it’s about stopping and recognizing what’s been there all along.
