My good friend has told me about this idea of destiny points. It has been said that destiny points are certain crossroads in life that we simply cannot miss. This is reassuring for all of us who’ve had our fair share of detours; taking the long way around (myself included). And for anyone who struggles with: “I should have done this” or, “I shouldn’t have done that” thinking. Destiny points remind us that our lives really are in Divine order; that no matter which path we choose, it won’t ultimately deter us from anything we are truly meant to experience in this life.
Hearing about destiny points liberated me. It helped erase all my doubts about past choices and took the pressure off making future decisions. Mostly, I think we are the creators of our own experience, and while that may be true, and although we do have free will, it sure is comforting to know that no matter how many “wrong” turns we take, ultimately when we are suppose to meet someone, or be somewhere, or experience something, we will.
There is an invisible presence guiding us along our path. So don’t put so much pressure on yourself about making decisions. Just choose the choice that feels best and know that everything will work out as it’s suppose to in the end.
