The Way Cannot be Found Without Knowing the Cargo

Inspired by Greg Kimura’s poem: Cargo

So often we ask, “Am I going the right way? Am I on the right track?” And the truth is, you’ll never know your ‘way’ until you know what gifts you hold. So go ask a trusted friend, or someone who knows you best to share what strengths they see in you. You may already know your strengths, but if you are not giving them away, perhaps a friend could help you brainstorm ways you could.

In honoring yourself and allowing your creativity to flow out through you, you won’t have to worry about the ‘way.’ For the way will find you. Rumi has said, “What you are seeking is also seeking you.” So if you start sharing your gifts with the world, you won’t have to worry about where to apply them or where they will take you. This is the magic of life.
