Trusting God is like putting your car in neutral. You stop driving and you surrender the wheel to God. Wherever the car rolls is where you go. Sometimes you need someone else; some other force to get you to where you need to go. But in order for this to happen, you first have to be willing to surrender the wheel, and let go.
Once you finally, consciously make the decision to shift the car into neutral, it’s amazing how fast things can turn around. How quickly you are met by people and circumstances that just seem to show up out of nowhere ready and willing to help. You’ll think it’s crazy how all of a sudden these unknown characters appear and seem strangely eager to help you get where you need to go. Every time you turn around you notice how some ostensibly annoying occurrence or unfortunate delay has now allowed new solutions to come your way.
It’s fun living this way. It takes the pressure off trying to figure everything out on your own. Look back at your life. Can you see the synchronicities that happened when you finally STOPPED trying? Can you remember the Divine assistance that occurred through no doing of your own? This is called God’s grace my friend, and to me it is greater than all the magical forces in this world combined. So, allow yourself to rely on it a little more. After all, it take no effort on your part and always yields the greatest results.
